Last agility event of the year.

December 27-28 will be our last agility trial of the year.
Lusha and Gigi both entered for both days.
We hope to get some more Qs in standard agility.
Lusha was entered for two runs in Open class and Gigi in Novice.
After day one, we got another Q on Lusha
with another clean run and perfect score of 100.
Gigi on other hand was testing my patience
and entertaining crowd.
We have one more attempt with each of dogs
tomorrow and whatever goes down, but it will be Thee Last
agility test for the year 2017.
Wish as much luck!
If no luck, oh well... it will be another year!

October /November 2017 news and updates.

We had a lot of going on in October...
Let start from the simple fact - first week of this month
was a week of our National Specialty conformation show
and performance events and our dogs participated at both!

I'll try to compact everything what happened and keep long story short.

Lusha got 2 Qs in Open Jumpers class
(2 at Montgomery trials and last one- soon after)
and got her Jumpers Open Title.
Gigi got her Novice title in Jumpers and first Q in Standard.

We got some professional pictures of Lusha
running at Montgomery trials, she was all about it!

Soon after Lusha finished her journey to next level
of conformation achievement and now she is officially recorded
GR Champion Bronze!
(Pictured below)

Lusha's older sister Awwa
(Shazzam Of Oz Awesom News) also did great,
won her last major and complied requirements for AKC
Champion Title!
Go Awwa!

Lusha's youngest sister, Josie
(Shazzam Of Oz Josefina)
won several shows and now has 5 points
toward her Championship.

Meanwhile our Dora...
(Not to forget none-schnauzer!)
went to National Dog Show at Oaks PA
and won her second 4 points major!
Dora is only 2 points away from becoming AKC Champion!

Several dogs went to try themselves at Barn Hunt trials...
Now we have Gigi completed her Instinct Title.
Lusha completed Instinct and has 2 Qs toward her Novice Title.
Chant got his instinct and his Novice Title at Barn Hunt!

And naturally while Lusha, Chant, Awwa, Josie, Dora and Gigi did all of above,
our Tutta raised litter of beautiful puppies and was a perfect Mom!

.... and this is WHY I had no time for blogging...
Sorry, I'll try to do it better next time!...
Maybe..

What about those puppies?...

Our fall litters are here!
Above- beautiful singleton solid black puppy-girl from Elly and Gosha.
3 weeks old. Outstanding.

Below - litter from Kenya and Blue.  Salt/Pepper puppies.
2 weeks old. Just the same outstanding.

Our last for 2017 litter is still in waiting...
we expect few more Black/Silver puppies
and day now...

Dog shows and more.

This summer we had plenty of fun showing some of our youngest
show starts. Josefina "Josie" was in a lead
with attending more shows then the rest.
So far she has the biggest collection of "reserve winner" ribbons
we ever had on a dog. I hope soon it is about to change into
"winner" ribbons collection.
She is fun to show (photo above).

Our "Time Girls" - Manya and Tory
also hit the show grounds for the first time and did very well.
Currently we are working on their coats
to bring them into perfect condition, instead of
puppy coats.
Those two are my show plan for upcoming 2018 year.
Pictured: Tory with me and Manya with Irina.

And of course there is the Eddy!...
Growing up and potentially will be shown few times
later in a season.
Currently we are working on his coat too..

Our Prima Donna - "Lusha"
(pictured above with me on two different occasions)
finishing her 2017 show season and quickly approaching
big mile stone of becoming AKC Bronze Level Grand Champion.
She also was awarded with prestigious
American Miniature Schnauzer Club
Versatility Award
what is only given to the dogs who achieved excellence
in several different performance fields...
At Lusha's case it will be Conformation shows,
Agility and Obedience.
Only a few dogs receive this Club's Award every year
and in 2017 Lusha is one of those few.
And the year is not over yet...
Perhaps we soon to add Barn Hunt Novice title
to her impressive collection!
Go Lusha!

As for our non-schnauzers crew...
Our beautiful Dora received her first major in Macungie, PA.
We love You, girl!

Meanwhile Gigi was having fun performing in agility
and got her first let on her first ever run
with the perfect score of 100 and being top of the class!

Stay tuned... more updates coming!

(That is just so much going on there,
I have no time to post any of it really!)

Work, fun, work!... Updates on Enchanter!

Long no see... I'm again behind on my blogging, am I ?..
It was very busy summer with dogs and things...
Really do not know where even to start.
All right, let start from some bragging..
This season we decided it is time to work on Chant getting his Championship.
We had him shown before off and on for during last two years,
but frankly, I was concentrating on Lusha and her achievements...
Now it was time to bring out thee good old boy and get "IT" done!
And so we did!

Introducing new AKC Champion
Shazzam Of Oz Enchanter - AKA "Chant".
Who also happened to earn him CGC title, Rally Novice AND Barn Hunt Instinct!

Above: Enchanter goes Best of Winners at Middleburg, PA for his first major.

Our win at Harrisburg and crazy show cluster
with almost two dozen of entries in  our breed!

... and getting our last Major win in Macungie, PA,
what finished his way to AKC Championship!...

As I mentioned above Enchanter was only busy being pretty,
but also went out to get his Canine Good Citizen Test, attended
"Meet Thee Rat" workshop at Bella Vista training Center
and went for his first Barn Hunt Trial
 at Ice Bern Farm, PA.
He earned his Instinct Title from the first try,
as well as first qualifying score at Novice Class.

Here is Chant and Lusha in all their Rat-hunting Glory
with all their ribbons!

Lusha's news are coming up next!

Lunch out!

Pippa's (on front) and Yana's (behind) puppies
having their lunch outdoors
(to the complete envy of starving adult dogs.)
Feeding puppies outside makes them use to new place faster and easier...
Food always makes things good, doesn't it?!..

August is here!

... and we are so behind with any updates!...
You may guess the right reason - much was going on here, in Pa.

Our beautiful Gigi went out for her first ever Agility Tests...
She passed brilliantly both ACT1 and ACT2 level
and was awarded with ribbons and of course cookies!...
She appreciated her cookies better...

Here she is!... Trying to grab it from my hand,
while Ira is trying to take our picture!

Meanwhile Lusha...
Received both of her agility certificates what made her eligible
for AMSC Versatility award!

This is our sample advertisement page for Schnauzer Shorts -
the ONLY publication for our breed.
This one will go to the working schnauzers issue.

We also went at two conformation show clusters... First one was outdoors...
( I LOVE my dog-show camping part!)

Second one was indoors. And on very first day of it Lusha
went Best Of Opposite Sex (BOS), two next days she got Select...
All 3 days we got majors on her.

Enchanter was back to the ring too,
and was Reserve Winner Dog 3 days out of 4.

Bloomsburg show cluster was a great fun and
was looking like schnauzers specialty...
We had a great gang of great people there!

Spa time for the doggies after their show day!
Oh... Much work, really!

Day after Bloomsburg show Chant and Gigi went to Bella Vista
training center
and passed their CGC test!
More ribbons!

At the same time at home Yana and Pippa were busy raising babies...
OK, it will be whole separate post about those babies and very soon...
But so far here is a Pippa with hers..
Enjoying family time!

... and those were our latest news and updates!
Stay tuned for more!

Rubber Duckies... Or not!

This weekend we did something different for change...
Took two of our dogs for duck herding practice!
This time those were Gigi and Rosie.
We started with Gigi, as oldest one of two.
Rosie was allowed to watch and learn...
Photo above - starting to work ducks on leash with Gigi.
And below - Gigi's attempt to herd without the leash.
She was a bit disappointed with me, for some reason she decided
we are going to play agility... and there were only ducks!...

Rosie on other hand... she had no expectation and ducks were fun!
She tried to be gentle with those, as we constantly
reminding to her how to be gentle with little ones...

And of course after hard job what could be better, but another pool party?!

Enjoy Your summer, stay cool!
