Dog shows and more.

 This summer we had plenty of fun showing some of our youngest

show starts. Josefina "Josie" was in a lead

with attending more shows then the rest.

So far she has the biggest collection of "reserve winner" ribbons

we ever had on a dog. I hope soon it is about to change into

"winner" ribbons collection.

She is fun to show (photo above).

 Our "Time Girls" - Manya and Tory 

also hit the show grounds for the first time and did very well.

Currently we are working on their coats

to bring them into perfect condition, instead of

puppy coats.

Those two are my show plan for upcoming 2018 year.

And of course there is the Eddy!...

Growing up and potentially will be shown few times

later in a season.

Currently we are working on his coat too..

Our Prima Donna - "Lusha"

(pictured above with me on two different occasions)

finishing her 2017 show season and quickly approaching 

big mile stone of becoming AKC Bronze Level Grand Champion.

She also was awarded with prestigious

American Miniature Schnauzer Club

Versatility Award

what is only given to the dogs who achieved excellence

in several different performance fields...

At Lusha's case it will be Conformation shows,

Agility and Obedience.

Only a few dogs receive this Club's Award every year

and in 2017 Lusha is one of those few.

And the year is not over yet...

Perhaps we soon to add Barn Hunt Novice title

to her impressive collection!

As for our non-schnauzers crew...
Our beautiful Dora received her first major in Macungie, PA.
We love You, girl!

Meanwhile Gigi was having fun performing in agility
and got her first let on her first ever run
with the perfect score of 100 and being top of the class!

4-th of July weekend.

 Independence Day weekend was a big thing in our house.

Surely enough for youngsters it was dress-up time!

 While for Lusha it was a weekend of hard work.

She had two agility trials to attend.

In a first day of Christmas ( in July)

My Lusha brought to me

Brand-new title in Novice Jumpers

with big smile on her face

and she was just as good as one could be !

(Withe perfect score of 100 it is!)

 On a 4-th of July itself Lusha finished her second Title

in Novice Standard. 

And again with the perfect score!

 Lusha says

"Time to pack and go have celebratory dinner!"

Pool Party!

Today on the back yard we had some fun with some of our dogs...

Mostly with puppies.

For the first time we introduced them to pool with water

and to make this experience happy, added some toys to the mix!

Manya and Tory... soon to be show dogs!

 Only month ago "puppy-puppy", Manya will be 5 months old in a week
and dramatically changed her looks.
She and her sister Tory both are also dramatically changing
their baby-teeth and we really have to watch out!

 Every time they finding something it goes strait to their mouth!

Of course not to say that adult dogs not giving them the same idea.

 Girls are looking like teenagers now. Tory got those long legs!

 Of course there are constant arguments about "whose?.."

 Sometimes even Lusha participating.
But she is getting tired of chasing toys quickly and
pups are having great time with each other...
Their treasures are safe!

 Run, girls, run!
Very soon You will be trotting in a show ring.
But till then... just play away!
It is summer!

Manya and Tory are 6 weeks old!

 Today is a girls' Birthday. They are 6 weeks old now,

it is a big mark for little puppies.

When they turning 6, they starting  to be social, playful, very curious

(sometimes too much curious for their own good!)

and very photogenic... Yet very hard to take pictures,

as those little things wouldn't stay still for longer then an eye blink.

This is why we scheduled this BD photoshoot NOW.

Who knows, if we would be able to make them stay still for us tomorrow.

Some time ago I ordered new photo background

and this was a great way to try it out.

It worked out fine, so I can order more of the same brand.

Below - Manya - reminding a lot of her aunt - Lusha,

when she was a baby!

They only getting better day by day...

Manya & Tory are 1 month old!

 Today we are celebrating puppies first important anniversary -

they turned to be month old... And what a difference did it make.

Sometime I can not believe it, how one more day may totally change 

all behavioral pattern of little puppies.

From cautious little creatures they all the sudden turned

into fearless little predators ready to play with everything on their way.

To commemorate this day we did this little photoshoot,

when girls were posing on purple -

the color of Westminster Dog Show,

where in a few days their Daddy will be competing again

against of very best dogs in North America...

Girls know nothing about dog shows yet, 

but in a few months that will change too...

Meanwhile they enjoy all their toys and games 

and this is what childhood should be about...

Manya and Tory are 3 weeks old!

 Girls are modeling for us together with Amelia.

Amelia is the French-born bear, who came to live with us this summer.

She was originally from Toulouse,

 but I talked her into coming with me in USA.

She makes good Nanny for the girls!
