Lacy's puppies, 4 weeks old. 2014.

Lacy's 4-weeks olds are very independent and fearless for their age.
It is their first time in new place. They have their floor set
accordantly to "The Rule of 7s". This is a basic set up
for any socialization games and they enjoy it.

Somebody feels really comfortable!

Assignment: "Find Prada!"

Assignment: "Find Prada!"

That would be too easy! "I'm outta here!"-says Prada (on a left).
Staying up to her name and feeling all special she didn't care
to cooperate in our photoshoot!... Oh, well!..
What about everybody else?..

Left to right: Prada (starring, but in the bush),
Munchkin (being a good boy, trying very hard),
Babe (already thinking to escape and start new adventure!)
and Pepper (sitting pretty and trying to please, as usually).

Hope You like them all and now Good Night!
(perhaps it is "Good Morning" for You, but it is after 12 PM here).

we decided to give You, guys, a little treat..
Enjoy watching our little rascals exploring great outdoors!

New games etc.

What this post is about today? Clearly about sweet NOTHING!
Ira and I had so called "day off". In our meaning it is a day
when we do something what is not scheduled, but we just feel
like doing this time... I like this feeling.
This is what I call "Freedom". Our "freedom" simply is a
"freedom of choices".
One of the things we did today; small photoshoot of puppies.
Not for any reason, just because  they were
playing so well and we happened to have camera
right on the middle of kitchen table!

Lacya's pups are just about two weeks younger compare to Tutta's guys,
but they  too discovering joy of playing with toys.

Above: Prada (left) and Pepper (right) Vs Mr Monkey.
At my humble opinion Mr Monkey doesn't have a chance!
Below: Boy and girl from Tutta trying to figure out
whose toy it is...

Perhaps tomorrow we will be able to take some more pictures
of them playing outside...
But we will see how day goes!

Lacya X Timmy litter, 4+ weeks.

Lacya's kids are 7 weeks old by now and getting to be pretty independent.
They are also ready for their first shots now, but they do not know about it
and we are going to keep it this way.
The "gentleman of this litter" is captured on a picture above.

His 3 little sisters are follow him one after another.
They growing up quickly and getting in the age for funny games
what only puppies can play.

Sometime soon I'm going to treat You with puppy-play video..
I hope I'll find a time to edit that stuff and upload so everybody can enjoy.

Stay tuned!

Lacya's little ladies.

So... what about those "little ladies"?... They will be 2 month old in a few days and feel all grown ups!..
Today's vet visit went well and we realized that everybody weight as much as 4 pounds, or something around it... They are getting really big, very curious and starting more and more interesting about getting out of their pen and play with some other dogs. They do not realizing the fact - they are not that big, how they think they are and their pen is for their own good.

Today we took them to play in outside fenced area. Introduced to some new toys. All went well.

It was big day for our little girls, but even bigger day is coming.... soon they will be ready to go home.

Lacya's puppies month old.

Lacya's pups are growing, but not changing that much yet... not at our opinion anyway because we see them every day all day long... perhaps for You guys they do look very different from previous photos we have posted here. They started playing, but not that much and quickly getting tired unless it is something what involves their FOOD. They do not get tired of that for sure.
Thry weren't very impressed with Irina dragging them out of their nest and
convincing to be "good doggies for pictures."
But regardless of their opinion of this photo-shoot, they all just that cute that my job was easy.
So...  here they are! Enjoy!

Lacya's "trio" is growing!

Not much to say about their personalities yet, but aren't they beautiful puppies?!.

Lacya's litter etc.

Last month was busy in the Myers's household. Good news - we had a beautiful litter of puppies from Lacya and Timmy. Bad news - one of our horses was in need of medical treatment, therefore I had no spare time for anything... but work. No blogging, no painting, many other things went BTW too..
But after all horse is fine and now I have time for some updates on puppies ad also started working on new painting for upcoming show season.
So... here they are - brand new Lacya's litter. Enjoy!
(And I better go wash dogs bowls and put everybody to eat.
 Schnauzers are hinting about starvation.)

Food is always attractive!

When we introducing puppies to new environment, subjects or situations, it is always good idea to give them at the same time something what they are very comfortable and familiar with... For instance - presence of their Mom is always helpful, but even more so will be presence of food.
Today, soon after they turned 5 weeks, we introduced them to several new factors at the same time... Instead of their small puppy-walking area they were taken in big kennel (after all adult dogs were put to eat and kennel was washed and disinfected). We put there one of our rubber mats, what pups never were on before. Also - instead of familiar ceramic bowls puppy got their food in 3 different unfamiliar bowels... And to top all it off - we took them out inside of Sherpa-bag (usually we would carry them in-hands).
With all of above they weren't scared or confused as soon they recognized familiar and tempting smell of their food. It was gone in about 3 minutes, just as long as it took me to shoot this video.
Today's goal was achived and transition to big playground went totally smooth. next time they are going there together with Mom and will learn even more.

Lacy's pups are MONTH old!

And here is another update - yes, they are already turn month old! We got a basket out to honor "International Picnic Day" (and who only came up with that anyway?)
We are "picnicking" right on the floor of our living room, because it is so hot outside that we could cook those hot dogs right one  the concrete surface of our kennel playground....
All dogs are inside too... for some reason none of them what to feel like a hot dog...
As for puppies - they didn't care. They never lived out of living room yet and feel pretty cool about it... (literally... and not so literally, thank you to our central AC system).

Picnic basket #1.  Thee boy.

Picnic basket #2. Another boy... who is not very happy with me, my camera and his basket.

Picnic basket #3. Content of basket sliding down on a pillow. Another  boy.

Do I have to say: "Thee girl! Or it is evident enough?.."

Basket is mine. Toy is mine. Bow is mine. And I'm a girl too!

Lacy's puppies 3 weeks old.

This is a "catching up" post. We took some photos, but got caught in housework, grooming etc and I had no chance to post it on-time. So... here they are! Looking more like real dogs, don't they?!...

Girls just love their ponies!

And when it is the ONLY pony for two...
they have to share!

On other hands boys... Always serious and always looking for something to do..
(eat it will be!)

... they also not so enthusiastic about "sharing" part...

 ...To be continued....

Hard working dogs.

Whole day of work and luckily it was all work with dogs - some grooming, some papers, two trips to vet office with regular stuff (it would be just one, if I wouldn't forget home half of impotent items!)
Meanwhile Lacy and her pups are working as well. Lacy is keeping her Milk Bar open and puppies...
their job is to eat and of course to grow, what they successfully do.
And at my opinion they are getting pretty big.

Lacy's puppies are two weeks old!

Yes, we are about two weeks old, have our little eyes open and tails are gone. I'm posting only a quick update, because naturally we do not have much of free time to play with video... Lot of work needs to be done with cleaning up after that storm we had here... but puppies do not care! They just growing, sleeping and eating. This is their job to do for the moment....

New Champion from Shazzam Of Oz and her family.

Our latest news: Shazzam of Oz Something Else "Sammy" just got her last major win and so her title of AKC Champion.  Thank You Carol and Ron Meitzler for taking of such a great care of Sammy and for taking her all the way up!

And now back to Sammy's sister, Lacy and her adorable puppies.
Everybody is doing great. Lacy learned very quickly how to be a good Mom and babies are growing like those weeds in our kitchen garden (flooded with the water, so we can not even get there).

Lacy is enjoying her time with family!

Puppy love.

Milk bar is open!

Two little sisters.

...and three of their brothers!

Lacy's puppies.

YES! She is finally in labor! And this is as much as I'll tell you now. It could be another whole night event, so please be patient with us not answering at e-mails etc. She will need her rest after she is done and so Irina and I will need some downtime too.
